Who we are
This website, www.gicgujranwala.pk, is run by Gujranwala Incubation Center (GIC), Sheranwala Bagh, GT Road, Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it and how you can contact us about it.
Information you give us
When you fill in a form on this site we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, this can include:
- your name, email address, phone number and city or address;
- CNIC number, date of birth and gender (application forms);
- education, work experience, LinkedIn or portfolio links and your startup or business details;
- files you upload, such as a CV, pitch deck or portfolio;
- messages you send through the contact form, booking, enrollment and service request forms.
We use this information only to review your application or request, contact you about it, run our programmes and services, and keep records of who has applied.
Chat assistant
If you use the chat assistant on the site, your messages are sent to an AI service provider (OpenAI, or Groq as a backup) to generate a reply. We do not store chat conversations on our servers. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
Analytics and advertising tools
To understand how the site is used and to measure our outreach, we use:
- Google Analytics 4: counts visits, pages viewed, where visitors came from (for example Google Search or social media) and actions such as submitting a form or tapping a WhatsApp, phone or email link. Google uses cookies for this.
- Meta Pixel: helps us measure visits and applications that come from our Facebook and Instagram activity. Meta uses cookies for this.
- Vercel Analytics: privacy-friendly visit and performance statistics from our hosting provider, without advertising cookies.
We do not send your name, email, phone number or form answers to these tools. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies and browser storage
Besides the analytics cookies above, the site sets a short-lived security cookie when you submit a form (to protect against forged requests), and staff who sign in to the admin area receive login cookies. Some forms save your unfinished answers in your own browser so you do not lose them; this stays on your device and is cleared when you submit or clear your browser data.
Service providers we use
Your information is processed by the following providers on our behalf, only to run this site:
- Vercel (website hosting) and Railway (our application server);
- MongoDB (database where form submissions are stored);
- Cloudinary (storage for files you upload);
- Resend (sending confirmation and notification emails);
- Cloudflare Turnstile (checking that form submissions come from people, not bots);
- OpenAI and Groq (chat assistant replies).
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Pakistan.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, with mentors, partners or investors in our programmes where this is needed to process your application and you have applied for that purpose, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to process your application or request and to run our programmes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing gicgujranwalaofficial@gmail.com. We will reply as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
